Robotron:2084 by Williams (1982) I bought this cabinet as a Gladiator conversion. When stripping the rough black paint from the sides, I discovered Robotron:2084 stenciled on the sides and under that... was Joust artwork. I am almost finished with the restoration. I just need to stencil on the sideart.
TRON by Bally/Midway (1982) Tron was one of my favorite games as a teen. This one looks pretty good, except for some swelling at the base and the inner art had been painted over. It plays great, has a great picture and all the lights work.
Galaga by Midway (1981) This game is definately one of my favorites. I recently got this game in a trade. It was obviously on location at a bar and needed a serious cleaning and some repair work. I restored this game by refinishing the cabinet, rebuilding the control panel and adding new artwork.
Kangaroo by Atari (1982) This game is in very good condition with almost perfect side art. It works perfectly, it's all original and it even had the original manual inside when I bought it. It does get a fair amount of play from the younger kids at parties.
Moon Patrol by Williams (1982) This is another one of my favorites, it really is a fun game. It is dedicated, all original except that it has the wrong T-moulding. It's in great condition and working all the way. Original stenciled on side art looks great after 23 years!
R-Type by Nintendo (1987) I wasn't a big fan of R-Type until I got this one working and put it in my game room. After spending some time playing it, I was hooked! It's in really good condition with original side art and control panel overlay and it even had the original manual inside.
Great 1000 Mile Rally by Kaneko (1994) This one is a conversion in a Chase HQ cabinet that had been converted to JAMMA. It's fun to play because you can power slide the cars around corners. The cabinet is a little rough and repairing this one is on my "To Do" list.
Yie Ar Kung Fu by Konami (1985) I got this one as a conversion in a Wizard Of Wor cabinet. It plays great and I think it's a fun game. The cabinet is rough and repairing it is on my "To Do" list. I remember playing it when I was stationed in the UK while in the US Air Force back in the mid 80's.
NBA Jam Tournament Edition by Midway (1993) I bought this cabinet as a dedicated Mercs game without the 25" monitor. I bought a monitor and converted it into a NBA Jam TE after I quickly got bored with Mercs (beat it in 3 hours with a buddy helping). I built the new 4-player control panel, made the monitor shroud and added basketball theme graphics.
R-82 Black Magic jukebox by AMI/Rowe (1978) This jukebox will hold 100 records(45 rpm), giving it 200 selections. It is loaded with mostly 80's songs and I also have a few from the 70's. I honestly remember dropping quarters in one of these at a bowling alley where I grew up.
Rocky & Bulwinkle by Data East (1993) I recently purchased this game because no gameroom is complete unless it has a pinball machine. It holds lots of memories from a cartoon I grew up with. It is really fun to play with almost constant action, great artwork and even a multi-ball play.
I've had a few games in my collection that are now gone to other homes.-Xevious-Track & Field-Gyruss-
